These choices apply to diastra.app in the browser you are using now. They are kept in this browser's own storage, so a different browser, a different device or a cleared browser starts fresh.

Measure my visits

Checking this browser.

When this is on, diastra.app records how your visit moves through the page, counts which sections you use, lets PostHog keep a cookie so it can recognize a returning visit, and can save your bands answers when you agree to save them.

When this is off, none of that happens in this browser. Nothing is recorded or counted, no answers are saved, what PostHog kept on this device is removed, and no visit, page or click is sent to PostHog.

Global Privacy Control

Checking whether this browser sends Global Privacy Control.

Global Privacy Control is a setting in some browsers and extensions that tells every website you visit not to sell or share your personal information. diastra.app honors it automatically, with nothing for you to press. Diastra does not sell or share personal information, and a browser that sends the signal is also never screen-recorded and never has its bands answers saved, and it gets no PostHog cookie unless you turn "Measure my visits" on here.

A copy of your data, or deleting it

To get a copy of what Diastra holds about you, to correct it or to have it deleted, write to support@diastra.app. This covers the bands answers saved on the website, your Diastra account, your purchases and any notes you sent from the app.

Saved bands answers. They are not linked to your name or email, so tell Diastra the day you saved them, your state or country, and the answers you gave (your sex and age), and they will be found and deleted, together with the recording of that visit.
Your account. Write from the email address your account uses.

Diastra answers within 45 days. If a request is refused, reply to that answer to appeal, and the appeal is decided within 45 days. If the appeal is refused, you may contact your state's attorney general.

Deleting your Diastra account

Version 1.1.1 and earlier of the app have no Diastra account, so there is nothing to delete there; the account arrives with the next version.

Open Diastra on your iPhone.
Go to Profile, then Account.
Press Delete my account, and confirm.

This erases your email address from Diastra's database, deletes your sign-in and cancels a plan bought on diastra.app. A plan bought in the App Store keeps billing until you cancel it in iPhone Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Your training history stays on your iPhone. To remove that too, go to Profile, then Data & privacy, then "Delete all Diastra data".
